Cruce - Game with Cards 2.6.3

It is a well-known card game called Cruce (Cross) that originates from Transylvania in north-western Romania. While the game is popular in other countries such as Germany, Hungary, Austria, and Slovenia, it goes by different names like 66 or sixty-six and has slightly different rules.

In this app, the card game is referred to as "Cruce" and can be played by 2, 3, or 4 players. However, the maximum number of players in the app is 2, allowing you to play against the computer. The deck of cards used in the game is Hungarian, but with the removal of the "Seven" and "Eight" cards, leaving a total of 24 cards. There are 3 different computer players available, each with their own difficulty level. The objective is to be the first player to reach 15 points in order to win. In case of a tie, the game will continue until one player earns more or fewer points than the others.

There are a total of four card types in Cruce: Hearts, Leaves, Acorns, and Bells. Each card type has six cards with different values.

The game begins by shuffling the deck of cards and distributing them among the players. Each player receives 8 cards while 8 cards remain on the table. Each player evaluates their cards for the auction phase. The player whose turn it is must make a bid between 1 and 4. If they believe their cards are not worth at least 1 point, they can choose to pass and give the bidding opportunity to their opponent. If a bid between 1 and 4 is made, the opponent can then make a higher bid to win the auction. The maximum bid allowed is 4; players cannot bid higher than that. Whoever "wins" the auction (by having the highest bid) gets to place the first card. The card they place will determine the trump suit (master) for the current game, which is the most powerful suit and can beat any other suit. In case of a tie with trump cards, the value of the card is considered, and the card with the highest value wins. Once all the cards are played, each player calculates their points, which includes both collected cards and announcements. The total sum is then divided by 33 to determine the number of points earned. If the player who won the auction ends up with fewer points than their bid, they will lose those points. The accumulated points are added to the player's total points.

Prior to starting the game, each player must evaluate their cards and make a bid during the auction phase. Bids can range from 1 to 4, or they can choose to pass. The bids are multiplied by 33, and this accumulated point value must be reached by the player who started the game in order to avoid losing points (equal to their bid value). The player who wins the auction then gets to begin the game, placing the first card and determining the trump suit (master).
